Writing about yourself always sounds a little scary, or, at best, embarrassing. How do I share my experience? How can I write about myself in the third person and not seem arrogant? Who will actually read it? Would I do it? But above all, will anyone really care?
Writing about yourself always sounds a little scary, or, at best, embarrassing. How do I share my experience? How can I write about myself in the third person and not seem arrogant? Who will actually read this presentation? Would I do it? but above all, will it really matter?

I'm trying to keep these questions in mind as I write this about myself and what I do. Let's see if this internal struggle can help me share my journey with you in the best possible way.
My name is Matteo Zanfabro and I am the man behind “3D Veterinary Printing”. I am a veterinarian, born in Trieste, and I live and work in Parma. I have two dogs: Sharko and Zima.
While carrying out research and working on my thesis, I studied the medical applications of 3D printing technologies and had the opportunity to apply them on real patients. The question that always guided me in all of this was: what are the real and concrete implications of 3D printing additive technologies on patients?

The answer led me to the 3D Veterinary Printing project.
3D Vet is my work project. It is based on the application of 3D printing technologies to the field of medicine and veterinary healthcare. The applications of 3D printing are wide and involve different fields, from robotics to the aerospace industry. While this technology has already been applied to the field of Human Medicine, in the field of Veterinary Medicine these medical applications still seem to be little investigated and developed.
The goal is simple: to be an integral and active part of the 3D printing revolution, pushing itself and its medical applications into the field of Veterinary Medicine, using these powerful technologies to reach a higher level in the provision of healthcare veterinary medicine.
I am proud of this project and I hope you will like it too.
